Have You Met The Requirements
Revelation 3:7-nlt

“Write this letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. This is the message from the One Who is holy and true, the One who has the key of David. What He opens, no one can close; and what He closes, no one can open… Although I had already been listening and writing what God had downloaded in my spirit  for today’s message, I didn’t have a title yet. But, when I woke up Wednesday morning I heard these words so clear in my spirit, “Have You met the Requirement”?

I continued to listen, and I heard, “Many of My people are waiting for Me to open doors, but they have not met the requirement for the door to be opened.” Then I heard the Lord say, “This is a time of self-examination.” He said to Ask this question, “Do you honestly believe that you have met the requirement for Me to open doors for you?”
Doors represent increase, opportunities, promotions, advancement, a place of better, and a chance to have more than you ever had. What have you done for Me to open
these kind of doors for you? “Many of My people want the blessing of open doors, but have not met the requirement.”

A requirement means something that is essential for the existence, or occurrence of something else. A requirement is a condition that must be met, or a necessity that must be fulfilled. The Lord said to ask this question. “Have we met the requirement for the doors we are asking Him to open on our behalf?”
God have doors of His own that He wants us to walk through. The Lord wants us to consider, and think about, how many of these doors have we walked through, and
fulfilled His command to obey?

1. Doors of obedience to My Word. Many of My people don’t even read My Word, and  therefore they are constantly defeated by the devil. And a mentality of defeat leads to
sin, and sloppy living. Sloppy means you give no thought to how you are living. If it feels good you just do it. However, you don’t stop and think of the consequences that are
sure to follow.

2. Doors of faithfulness. Have you been faithful to serve Me with your whole heart, mind and being? Do you love Me with your whole heart, mind, and being? Have you
been faithful to do what I called you to do? The time is short. Where is the fruit from your labor? What have you done that I told you to do?

3. Doors of outreach. When was the last time you went out and ministered to the brokenhearted, the backslider, the lost. When was the last time you told the homeless
man or woman, that I still love them, and have not given up on them? When was the last time you went to the jail, prison, or nursing home and comforted those with My
truth and words of hope?

4. Doors of giving. Have you been obedient to bring your tithe and offering into My House so that My Shepherds don’t have to stress, and struggle to meet the financial
needs in My House. My people have not learned that obedience in their finances are a part of what determines open doors. Why give you more, when you are not obedient to do the basic thing I have required you to do, and that is to bring the tithe and offering in to My House?

5. Doors of forgiveness. From Leaders to lay people, forgiveness is still a big problem among My people. They preach with unforgiveness in their heart. They serve on the
usher board with unforgiveness in their heart. They are handling the sacred tithe and offering with unforgiveness in their heart. They haves issues of offense with their
Leader, refusing to make it right. They come into My House with a smile on their face, but bitterness and resentment in their hearts. Because of these things they are non-compliant to their Leaders request to help serve in  some area of My House. Therefore, lack is evident in My House. The Shepherd have to do the majority of the work, while the people come and sit with no concern that the Shepherd is struggling. And yet you wat on Me to open doors of blessing and breakthroughs for you.

6. Doors of mercy. When was the last time you did an act of kindness for someone?  When was the last time you obeyed My voice to bless someone? “You ignored Me, and
you ignored them. So I sent someone else to bless them.” “Since you didn’t bless them, I didn’t bless you. When you are quick to obey Me when I tell you to bless someone, I will  be quick to bless you for your obedience.” When we fail to meet the requirement, the door we want God to open for us, also fails to open. In other words we did not do what God needed us to do for Him to open the door.

7. Doors of righteousness. Can we honestly say in our heart, before Him, that we are living a life of righteousness. Not based on the worlds standards, or ways. But according to His Word, and His Spirit. Are we living a life that truly honors and please Him? Or, are we living a life that please ourselves and others?

8. Doors of honor. When was the last time you honored My servant, your leader? What was the last gift you gave them? Or, honored them with a financial love offering? What have you done to help lift the burden off their shoulder? When was the last time you offered to pray for them, or have prayed for them?
In closing, what has God asked, or required of you? What has He told you to do, or stop  doing? Those are His requirements. When we fail to meet the requirements He asks of  us, the doors will remain closed. However, when we do what God needs, or ask us to do  for Him, the doors will open.
